  1. I am from Franklin ,Vermont. One thing people do not realize that cover this case that are not from Vermont ,is the absolute rural nature .There is nothing for young people to do .It is not uncommon for young people to want to be closer to at least a town Enosburg, Swanton,St Albans.I know the Maitland’s .I watched Brianna grow up .I worked on a local restaurant they would frequent .I do not think there were major family problems other than normal parent/teenager struggles .I merely think she just did not want to be in rural Franklin . They did not even in live in center of Franklin.Consists of one general store,a post office,a library , a small Ford dealership. No redlights , no restaurants, no highschool ,no grocery store,no movies,Nothing!!!!It’s all at least 15 to 25 miles away.To truly understand this case one would have to visit and see for themselves .
