I’m not sure if you will get to this in upcoming episodes, but did anyone OTHER than her fiancee see that the door was latched from the inside?
Swing locks CAN LOCK on their own.
Depending on how old it is/how lose it is, if the door is heavy enough and closes hard enough, they can close on their own.
Was their any surveillance in the hallway??
All red flags are pointing to the fiancé.
