On the theory that someone such as the ex-boyfriend killed her onsite. How did he remove her from the scene? IF she met him somewhere and the two drove to the site how did he leave the scene? It is 8 degrees so that is a VERY cold walk at night and no witnesses saw anyone on the road. So maybe they met up there and he entered her car (or pulled her out right off) or she went to his car. Did the state police look around the scene for any other car tracks or signs of another vehicle? If she was sitting there in park and the assailant was pulling her from the car she may have tried to put the car in drive but didn’t get the shift any farther than reverse. So maybe two cars – hers and the killer.
