What if one boot was off because she held her documents in the boot. She had to take the boot off to get the documents out in order to burn them? Purely speculation but a possibility. I just feel like it was an intentional suicide because maybe her cover was blown and she went to a place she figured no one would intuitively follow her to kill herself and destroy any important documents she had.
